Anybody good with scorpions? My niece's friend just got stung by this one in Kazakhstan and they want to know how worried they should be. iNat's AI is suggesting Mesobuthus, which I gather is one of the deadlier ones. From what I can tell, scorpion stings are rarely fatal for adult humans, but trying to do my due diligence here...

Please collect it for rearing if you can! Here is a larva found yesterday in Virginia: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/156989639. It occurs at least as far north as Pennsylvania, where it has been found in mid-May (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/78500340).
