They’re both about the same accessibility level for ordering, with a little bit of a nod to Uber Eats because it is easier to go back from your cart and add more to your order. Grubhub makes you find and click on the restaurant name to do this, not very obvious. But Grubhub does give you the total price, including fees before you have to click on the checkout button and with Uber, you have to click the checkout button to get that. I ordered the same 3 sandwiches from Arby's from my location in Ann Arbor. They both charged me $21.77 for the base order' but Grubhub's taxes and fees were $3.13 while Uber Ones were $2.69 but you have to subscribe to Uber one to get the 2% lower fees, regular Uber eats without a subscription is much higher

Its a good thing that I know the approximate instructions enough to know that it was making up cooking times. I checked this the slow way with Seeing AI and confirmed that Be My Eyes was very wrong.

I have called them maybe 6 times now over a year and a half, and they have always fixed my problem quickly and professionally. Even once when a new Dell laptop I bought from Ebay had its sound drivers screwed up, the amazing evening support woman went on the Realtech website to find an updated sound driver that would let screen readers start working. The woman who usually answers the Be My Eyes calls in the evening US Eastern time is the best.

It had poor navigation and poor content. But I was happy that it randomly gave a chance to fill in a survey about my experience. But the survey wouldn't work with Voiceover. I couldn't check the box for bad experience even after going into character mode and double tapping all over the place. Finally I turned Voiceover off and on, and then it let me check the boxes. Why is Voiceover so unreliable lately on iOS?

I'm glad that you can turn this setting on for just the Smartthings app because Voiceover makes a strange clicking sound after every 1-finger swipe left or right in this mode.

With Voiceover, I can't find or click on my devices even though they show up on the screen for a sighted person. Right now, I can't use the app with my washer, dryer, or TV. So this is a warning to not update this app for now. I hope that there is a Voiceover setting that will make this work again, but I haven't had time to troubleshoot yet.

I often simulate the location of a destination I haven’t been to before so I can find what restaurants are near it, but it didn’t work at all. Once or twice, (not every time) it gave me an almost inaudible error message that sounded like: No access to search. Maybe I missed an update, so I looked in the App Store but it wasn’t in the 30 apps that are waiting for me to manually update them. Finally it dawned on me that I had set my VPN to the UK this morning to listen to the World Cup on the BBC and I had never switched it back to the U.S. After turning off the GPS, it works again. Why would this matter?

This only happens when going line by line through the audio articles section, not the text articles. The problem is that this is intermitent and the behavior will stop a in an hour or so, whenever the articles get refreshed or something. I would call Apple Accessibility but this behavior would likely disappear before I could get ahold of them. And I don't have much faith in their ability to recognize or pass on bugs. This has been going on since at least September of last year. Oh, this is News Plus.

It isn't the most useful, but it is my favorite because it so often surprises me with the radio stations it can get and the speed that it can get them. This morning I wanted to listen to the World Cup and it easily played TalkSport World in the UK to play the Ireland vs. Nigeria game, and a TSN station from Toronto to play the Canada vs. Australia game. Unlike the TuneIn app, I could listen to both games simultaneously and easily switch between the two feeds with no intro ads to slow things down. Even though the app itself is never updated by the developer, I would happily give him $10/year or more for it. I feel guilty that I bought it for $5 or $10 many years ago and haven't given him anything else since then even though I use ootunes all the time. but he does update the radio stations list.
