In my opinion, Canada should not allow the usa to avoid a 25% tariff on oil and gas. We should add a 15% export tax to the 10% tariff. If they want to play, let’s play. The usa has refineries that are specifically tailored for the type of crude Canada produces. Not only will a higher tax hurt, they will have to upgrade their infrastructure to accept crude from elsewhere. I wonder how much strategic reserve Biden left, after draining it to reduce gas prices for the last few years?
