https://mastodon.scot/@CrabbitJa...As some of you know, my Ros passed before she could do a sponsored walk to raise money for #dunfermline Hospice at the Queen Margaret hospital. Tomorrow at 2pm, we will celebrate her life at Dunfermline Crematorium… on Saturday her ashes will be carried from Burntisland to Aberdour. She will do her walk… a Just Giving page was set up for her… she hoped to raise £500. So far she has £2010. She would be delighted and no doubt raise a glass to you all!

Ros decided to leave us at 8.50pm in the wonderful care of the staff at the Queen Margaret Hospice.. she chose to go when her room was filled with laughter in the company of Natalie, Laura, Me and our favourite Nurse Jill (although to be fair all the nurses were her favourite!!). She was very peaceful over the last few days, just sleeping… but in the end her passing took us all by surprise! So bloody typical of her!! Fly high my Ros x

She was admitted for pain management again, but had not improved and is sleeping all the time. Even though she had been fighting cancer for two years, this doesn’t seem real.

From a woman who was bedridden and unable to feed herself, she is now able to (slowly) walk short distances with a zimmer. When I visited the other day she said that one of her pals in there “has a thingy that talks to her and she can ask it to play music”… and that she wanted one…. Guess who is visiting with a new Alexa Dot today…
