It may have made sense with the earliest versions of iOS to disallow third party apps entirely because the security features were not in place at that time. But that is no longer true since the advent of SDKs being available to 3rd parties. The App Store only gives a false sense of security. Sideloading only means we will have the same preconditions as on macOS which are entirely feasible.
