I’ve had to move from writing new words to editing a book because I have to turn it in next week, and it’s strange how no matter how many pages I edit, I feel like I’ve done nothing. Why is word count my only measure of achievement? Trying to spin this in my head a little differently. #AmEditing #writer

Another day, another 3000 words. The holidays ramp up the anxiety in my little adopted guy. We don’t know what his first holidays looked like, but we’ve learned that Thanksgiving to Christmas will be very rocky, and we must live in patience, love, and grace as things get hard. Today my husband is shouldering the load so I can make deadlines since I will have zero writing time this week with school out.

I already know exactly what I give thanks for. I am #grateful every day. #amwriting
