I have been practicing N+MVC for decades now: network operations to sync data into the model, and the rest takes care of itself. Packaged as NSOperations, they can get queued and cancelled, and progress can be reported. Inside, background MOCs update CoreData, and FRCs update the UI as needed.

In the age of Swift Async, what’s the equivalent paradigm or pattern? This article seems to suggest re-creating the NSOp/NSOpQueue concepts myself?
