One thing I would love is if game engines would truly prioritize analytics. I know a while back there was a controversy around Unity’s view of how monetization should work, with someone from Unity de facto saying something like “if you aren’t always considering monetization your game will fail.” Regardless of if that’s true, analytics are a huge driver of monetization and while I know UE and Unity provide tools, we could do so much more. #analytics #gamedev

This looks to have some exciting new features, particularly in the procedural generation realm - from the list of features, there’s a lot of new features that certainly don’t replace the need for human sculpted game art, but help workflow. one more note on how I intend to use this account - #microblogging and I have had a messy breakup. I actually left #Twitter before the whole… well you know. Been keeping it as a point of contact. So I don’t really intend to use this to hang out with friends - I’m happy to chat and also to share other contact (Discord, Telegram, email) but I’m mainly here to maintain a personal and professional point of contact. I don’t think any app replacing the Rolodex’s use case yet exists… should fix that…
