I'm picking up with a years old save, and I had a brief moment of "what on earth was I supposed to be doing?"

Prime 2's "hint" system that calls the user to the next place to progress the story.

I found that hint system to be helpful; even necessary to progress. I obtained an upgrade and the next world was far away, in another map, in the dark world. I would have found it eventually, probably, but as a parent with limited time, a guiding light was helpful.

Prime 2 feels more "oppressive" than its predecessor. The dark world eats away at the players health for most of the game, and...

Prime 2 feels more "oppressive" than its predecessor. The dark world eats away at the players health for most of the game, and ammo for the powerful guns limited. I disliked it when I played 15 years ago, but having gone through Dark Souls and other high-challenge exploration games, I feel less nervous.

I've clocked in at about 42,000 words. Probably this will grow as I revisit the work and find areas to flesh out and re-write. But at the moment we're looking at 170-200pg book, depending on density.

I think I've earned myself a little treat. Time to start reaching out to friends in the publishing industry!

There were moments where I thought they weren't sure what story to tell. Daedra and Syril seemed on the verge of waking up to the scale of the oppression, but Daedra never seemed to reflect after Ghorm. They could have had a moment where she reflected on how her ambition had landed her a front seat to genocide, and a moment of doubt before the Axis trail heated up again and she recommits. But it still ended up fine!

I think season one of #Andor had the most satisfying story, but season two was very good.

Daedra's fate to end up in a prison was a perfect conclusion for the character. For all her zeal, the empire didn't give a damn. She stumbled, and it consumed her.
