Okay, Edam get friends with a redhead warrioress. Through the effects of the asteroid is she two meters tall, 200 years old. (I'm so sorry that I don't get any names for her in my head)

So, my idea is - and that's where the potholes come in when you think to long about it - that the both fall in love, because plot reasons. Edam gets wounded and the only way to safe him is a fountain of youth more inward to the asteroid, but that's a holy place. That's why Ronya(?) and Edam get banished. Traveling back to Europe, Edam has now an extended lifespan and healing factor. Ronya learns to live in the city and becomes a hero. She's Wonder Woman, that's what I try to say.

I actually don't know if some worldbuilding stuff I write was already written at some time by me.

Anyways, the planet is basically earth, but with some differences like magic exist. Maybe the biggest, most central chance is that the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs wasn't just a asteroid, it was an otherworldly alien … thing. It crashed into what becomes south America. The asteroid has the property that life near it runs in overdrive. It extends your life and strengthen your health and strength, but the closer you get to it the more it turns into mutations.
