I'm reading the BFG with child 1 and we got to the bit where they try to decide how much food the giant will eat. He is four times the size of a 'man' so we will make him four times the amount of food. I then spent about 30 minutes discussing scale factors with my 6 year old and why using the length scale factor for food will be wrong. When I say discussing, she recognised that by just sitting there she could stay up longer. In the end we (I) decided that it should be a scale factor of 64 and not 4. And then, surprise surprise, he didn't have enough food. Maths wins.

Anyone got any #Moodle advice when adding an html page that contains #Quarto callouts??? The #LaTeX is working fine but it ignores my pretty callouts :-( It's been suggested to make a #js call in the html????? Help!!

Also annoyed that #moodle doesn't seem to recognise single $ in-line #latex from #quarto but it recognises the $$ version from the html...

I'm using #Quarto to produce html versions of our current pdfs after putting through #mathpix and #mathcha for conversions. The html output is going well (still need to learn to tweak some #latex, though) but I can't specify the pdf to use Helvetica - it just says it can't load the package 😞 Any hints or tips?
