Versus Code, Microsoft's code editor, has a new behaviour that has been driving me nuts. Ctrl-F has always been "find in the current file" but now if I select a file in the sidebar it switches to "find in sidebar" or some shit.

There is (as usual for Versus Code) a solution, in File -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts, find "listSupportFind" and delete the "Ctrl+F" keybinding.

Versus Code is a decent editor once you turn off all the unnecessary BS it tries to do for you.

I have a ton of projects I want to work on, all under the loose umbrella of "Sketchdance," some working and needing bugs fixed, some barely in the conceptual stage.

I find myself paralyzed sometimes, not being able to pick the most important one to move forward, so I'm testing out a wheel of fortune: spin the wheel, work on the project. I might try doing this on Twitch soon, but for today I'm refactoring Shimmy (sketch-based animation) into a first cut at Jitter (stop-motion animation).

We had a school tour come through the library and the librarian asked me to put up the interactive videos I run on (every other) Sunday from 1-4 a bit early. I did and the kids had a blast, then I had lunch and ran the regular version of it. So many happy kids, so many great smiles. This is what I love about my job.

I don't know how your day is going, but I hope it is treating you right. As for me, I had a ton of things I needed to do, but spent pretty much the entire day sleeping. My cats are happy that I've finally found their secret to enjoying life. Feeling good and only a little panicked about all the things I haven't done.
