I'm guest hosting for the next 4 weeks on @talkingdrupal - two episodes recorded, and one released. I really enjoyed catching up on Pantheon Content Publisher. Have they solved the "I just want to publish my Google Doc" workflow? I'd love to hear what you think: talkingdrupal.com/492

I didn't understand why games looked so much better than the box art or manuals which often used the software renderer for screenshots. Need For Speed III was mind blowing, but I thought it was just the difference coming from a 1993 era Mac. It felt like a downgrade when I later built my own system with a Voodoo II and I needed to do VGA passthru to the separate card for 2D! (3/3)

I'm really looking forward to reading this about the Riva 128. It was my first experience with a 3D graphics card. It came with our family's first Windows system (Dell) back in 1998. I had no idea it was there (and I was the gamer!). Neither did my parents, who bought the computer. I noticed some games had an option for a “Direct 3D” renderer which wasn't on by default. (2/3)

Ever want to test SSO integration with Drupal, but don't have access to the remote identity provider? @penyaskito has created a @ddev addon for Authentik, which lets you do SSO locally with OpenID, SAML, LDAP, and more: github.com/penyaskito/ddev-aut

Of course, this won't match Okta or other systems exactly, but it's a great way get a working baseline for troubleshooting.

The approach to generate patient records seems relatively reasonable, and it’s great to hear end users of a GenAI tool have solid anecdotes on the time saved. I just don’t get why they aren’t saving recordings at least for a day or two to assist in corrections. I wouldn’t have expected the storage to cost much at all compared to the AI work.

I really wish Apple had used a better setup for iCloud Private Relay emails. They’re now pretty much useless because most sites block all emails with `@privaterelay.apple.com`. I’d use the 1Password + Fastmail integration, but my domain is used by must my family so it’s really not private.

Slack removed the ability to tab-complete user names (you now have to start with @) two weeks ago. I’m _still_ fighting that muscle memory built up for decades between various chat apps. If this bothers you, and your org pays for Slack, please file a support request! Hopefully they get enough that they bring it back.
