🔥 Backend engineer takes on React! 🔥
Just published: "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: My Experience with React"
As someone who lives in the server-side world, I finally gave this frontend framework a serious try. My verdict? Surprisingly... not terrible! 🤷‍♂️
The Good: Component model makes sense! ✅ The Bad: Dependency hell is real 😩 The Ugly: Meta's involvement still gives me the creeps 👀

Just published a new blog comparing Rust and Go from my perspective.

After months of working with both, I've found that Go feels like it was designed to be learned in a weekend, while Rust demands your respect and attention.

Which would you choose to learn first?

Despite my love for Linux, my personal machine runs MacOS.

Call it tech heresy, but sometimes I value my weekend over configuring window managers! (Even though I love I3 and used it for almost 4 years)

The year of the Linux desktop is like fusion power - always just 10 years away.

Just published! "Why Does Training AI Seem So Expensive?" 💰

Is the "billion-dollar AI training" narrative actually true, or is it a convenient story that benefits big tech companies?

I break down the real hardware costs, explain what "AI" actually means (hint: LLMs aren't "true AI"), and why this matters for the future of tech innovation.

Confused about when to use each technology? I've created a practical guide with real-world decision frameworks and personal insights from my experience.

Finally wrote up that Golang coroutines guide I've been promising myself to make for ages 😅

If you've ever wondered why I'm obsessed with Go's concurrency model, this is your answer!

I break down goroutines, channels, and all that good stuff with code examples that actually work (unlike some of my experimental projects lol). Even included a web scraper example that doesn't crash and burn!

Check it out if you're curious about Go.

As an engineer, Harari's warning "Never summon powers you cannot control" resonates deeply.

I support AI development as an assistant, not a replacement—yet we humans oddly rush to replace ourselves.

AI should complement human intelligence, preserving our agency while expanding our capabilities. True innovation isn't making humans irrelevant, but enhancing what makes us human.

We need to determine strict laws related to AI and it's development even though we may not like it.

Just discovered ByteDance's new cross-platform framework Lynx.
While it looks technically interesting as a React Native competitor (already powering parts of TikTok!), I remain skeptical of trusting big tech frameworks from companies with questionable data practices.
As devs, we should understand how these technologies work while building truly independent alternatives. That's why I stick with Angular+Capacitor for my cross-platform needs - more control, better standards compliance, no sketchy corporate dependencies.
I'll publish my full take on Lynx soon at my blog (Sooner than you expect).

Are dLLMs making traditional LLMs obsolete?
I'm exploring how diffusion models process text in parallel at 1000+ tokens/second and what this means for coding assistants.
But is this speed coming at a cost to security and developer skills? Read my thoughts:

Macros in Rust—your shortcut to clean, powerful, and reusable code!

Whether you're tackling procedural or declarative macros, Rust gives you the tools to extend the language itself. But what makes them so useful? 💡

In this second post, I break down what macros are, how they work, and why they're such a big deal in Rust. Perfect for Rustaceans and curious devs alike.
