It has been fun but challenging to create the 2-player mode of Drifters & Demons. Part of the game works like a rpg town and has a lot of actions that require opening a menu or talking to NPCs, and I wanted players to be able to do all these things without interrupting the game for the other player.

Making that possible also improved the experience in single player mode, because the result was that all actions became quicker and less tedious to perform.

Last year I took one step towards freedom from adobe, by downgrading from cc to just illustrator. It was pretty easy to stop using...
