I have done Many Things today, and so am now very tired.
A shower, then the telly with a(another) beer, I think.

More of that kind of thing.

More of that kind of thing. It was pointed out to me earlier that VE day in continental Europe is a far more sombre affair than in the UK. Which makes sense, because over here there's basically nothing about the actual war, and a shit ton of fetishising Britain in the 1940s.

As a result we both went swimming today for a massive £3.50.
Which was nice.

Which is one way of admitting that I had a ton of washing that had collected while the drying conditions were poor.

Headline is that LibDem held the seat, which isn't overly surprising as it's long been a predominantly LibDem council.
The sub heading though, is that Reform were a comfortable second.
That said, Reform only got just over half that of LibDem at 600 votes to 1000. Labour got 320.
The Tories have been thoroughly fucked off with just 150 votes. I guess they lost a huge chunk to Reform.

Presumably some rampant musicals fan has reported it because there wasn't nearly enough musicals content for their enjoyment.
By the same token, some reggae fan should report me because there's only one reggae track in the same show.

I replied to point out that literally the first song in that upload is 'One', a cast recording from a production of A Chorus Line. That's a musical.
My genre tagging might be somewhat all over the place, but that's because #ThePlaylist is somewhat all over the place. And that's how I like it.

The past three weeks shows weren't in my Proton drive when I archive them. I began to quietly definitely not freak out, until I opened my Macbook and found that they were in the Proton Drive folder, but the app had bugged and hadn't uploaded them.
Stupid bloody app.
Am now downloading the folder to my server for an extra backup.

For me there are two.
I always untie my laces. Trainers are expensive and I don't want to keep messing them up, so no matter how tired I am when I get home I always try to untie my laces.
Also, I always try to squeegee the shower when I'm done, because cleaning limescale is far more difficult.

Got a racist/xenophobic response to something completely unrelated over on Reddit. His comment that I replied to was perfectly inocuous so it threw me. So I did what anyone would do and went looking at his comment history. He posts a lot on /r/XRP, a form of crypto.
I'd not heard of it, so I opened a thread at random, to see a comment from another guy saying that when it hits $20 he's going to celebrate by leaving his wife.

The Rubberbandits meets The Streets....This has reminded me of when the Handoff stuff was first announced. My 2011 MacBook didn’t have the right wireless card for it, so it didn’t get it. My dad’s 2011 Mac mini did have the correct wireless card…but it still wasn’t supported.
The reason it wasn’t supported was because there were high spec 2011 iMacs that had the same wireless card as the MacBook, so Apple couldn’t be seen to be activating a feature on cheaper hardware.

I guess I’ll find out as I chunter along…
