They rig a #submarine dive to go wrong & kill the billionaire. The pilot is in on it, with an escape plan, but the plan goes awry. 2.5 miles down, the pilot decides to go through with it for the greater good of Robin-Hood-esque wealth redistribution. 1/2

The team knows the background, too: Alex is an NPC in the questline and expresses her displeasure - but resignation - at the situation.

They're apparently changing it, but l really don't know how something like that gets all the way to PTR without someone raising a flag.

Three significant #Blizzard headlines today, but the heaviest to me was the quest designer - a coworker who busted his ass and made the jump from QA - fired over combat barks.

I'm not surprised someone in the C-suite saw a mirror in a gold-hoarding loot goblin, or that they retaliated over it.

But I'm disappointed as hell that no one between him and that fragile, petty suit stood up to the demand that he be fired.

I had thought - hoped - that Team 2 was better than that.

I'm excited for #Diablo4 tomorrow but if I weren't buying it with leftover free bnet balance from my time working there, at this point I wouldn't touch it.

There are great devs at that company working their butts off to make some of the best games in the industry. And I hope they all leave for better studios as quickly as possible, because they don't deserve what #Blizzard puts them through, and Blizzard certainly doesn't deserve their talent and passion.
