Substitute something like “spelling” or “math” for “passing” and consider if it’s the best way to get the kids to improve their skills and become confident, lifelong learners (or players, etc).

I do not understand why it is “acceptable” to yell and criticize 10 year olds in sports in ways that would get any teacher fired....
