Abstract generative art. I don't quite know how to describe it. It looks vaguely like a dense tiling of irregular paint blob splotches, in a very unnatural looking palette of green, orange, grey, and purple. If you step back you can see that they're arranged in a way that makes it look like there's a grey horizontal background stripe underneath the paint blobs running through the middle of the image, contrasted with a lighter undertone for the rest

The colours change at the grid boundaries, but the textured spatial noise retains its global structure across boundaries. Intricately swirling patterns rendered mostly in tan and red shades. There's a large, circular orb region in the middle that is noticeably more yellow/tan than the surrounding areas that are more red/blue.

Early days, but think I have a very strong preference for pixelfed over mastodon for image-based feeds. I don't think it's possible to migrate followers from a mastodon account to a pixelfed one, so I may just have to live with the lack of followers on this account, but that's okay. Accruing followers was never the point of my generative art account anyway.

In any event, this is a first-pass attempt at incorporating foreground structure (currently just a circle) into the system I've been playing with. It's not quite there, but I think there's potential in the approach.
