Probably directed to @CobaltVelvet: Just had an outage on #octodon exactly at 00:00 CET. Is this normal (like a scheduled server restart or something), was the software acting up, or does this happen under the high load the server (and with it all of mastodon) currently is experiencing?

These are getting a bit repetitive, my school life isn't interesting enough, I guess.

I'm currently trying out #fediverse android apps. Some overall feedback on a couple of them:

1. Official: very annoying to use as notifications sometimes send 3 to 6 duplicates with random intervals. Definitely looks and feels the closest to the vanilla website, though.

2. https://toot.app tries it's best to resemble Twitter (does a good job), but it still has some bugs too. For example: the triple-dot menu doesn't work at all. Maybe it wasn't implemented yet.

3. #fedilab from #fdroid works well, has nice integration with the latest features (eg. lists) and looks good. Does have some lagspikes still.

4. I'm writing this toot from Husky from F-Droid. Looks and feels nice.

Also, I couldn't find an app yet which supports following hashtags (which is new, I know).

Nevertheless I really admire the work being done on these apps, and Mastodon overall. Good job on the developers!

If anyone actually read through this post, let me know what your using if you are on #android. Currently, I'm using Husky, and I'll fill in the feature gaps with the web-app.
