So… today, the #FIA decided to amend the ISC to disallow wearing anything that would violate the neutrality of the sport.

Over the past couple of years, drivers in #F1 have spoken out against and shed light on against a range of societal issues, like the Environment (Sebastian Vettel), Racism (Lewis Hamilton) or Mental Health (Lando Norris). Yes, those topics are political in nature, but shining a light on them is key to building a better society.

The FIA has the right to say "you can't display any such messages", but then, they're the ones that should lead the message. Otherwise, they should just stay out of it, and let the drivers lead the causes that they have to heart. By not restricting, that's how you stay neutral.

I'm aware that I'm maybe hypocritical by watching the races, while taking issue with F1 going to countries where human rights are not respected.
