BUT… my photos are disappearing from iCloud as I type. (Switched to Ente Photos—slightly lacking because iOS but not in Apple servers + encryption FTW!)

Now if I could just determine what’s up w the laptop…

I DO NOT want to have to re-image the computer. I’m already at the point where Apple has disallowed further updates. I know it’s time to shrug and install Linux. I just… don’t wanna deal w that rn. Esp when I’m already under a deadline to extract my library from Amazon!

I tried removing my VPN. Disabled the firewall. Deleted the connection profile. Reconnected, tho I had to supply the ID (it’s NOT a hidden broadcast). Connected to my phone’s hotspot… all well. Switched back to wifi. Rebooted the laptop. Rebooted the internet. Rebooted the laptop again. Nothing. (1/2)

I suppose this shouldn’t be a deal breaker—I rarely use the iPad BECAUSE it’s so limited in what I can run there. But now. Now I’m anxious abt finding similar issue w my MacBook. Fug. (1/2)
