Another writing app I've made good use of is Highland (or "Highland 2" as the Mac-only app is currently named.) It's intended for screenplays, but I've made good use of it for novels and short stories. The file format, fountain, is a kind of plain text. Think of the format as a superset of Markdown. This morning I realize that the "Minor Figures Barista Oat" liquid is less convincing than the "Oatly Barista" when under-poured — that is, when there isn't quite enough in the coffee. But once your oat-to-coffee ratio is above a certain threshold, it's fine. I'll probably stick with it for a while.
