Not very ambitious perhaps, but at least it will be useful. Couldn't find ones exactly like these ready to buy anywhere (not too wide so as not to hog breadboard space, and at the same time able to accomodate both narrow and wide soic chips).

*I mean mine. No actual babies were involved

I highly recommend learning #electronics and playing around with a #breadboard for anyone who enjoys #lego or #jigsaw puzzles. On a newbie level, when you are using ready schematics, it totally satisfies the same urges. Then maybe you get advanced and can build some cool devices on your own!

A single bent contact in a #breadboard is enough to give me OCD. Dealing with the sticky tape mess every time I might want to get inside to unbend it is not an option. At the same time, I don't want to treat my breadboards as disposable and replace them after a single contact point goes bad.

So I removed the tape altogether and added plastic backing which I can take off and reattach easily. Also, they had metal backing plates included - I put those in too, plus a small connector so I can easily ground this "ground plane" if I want to.

Dzisiaj się dowiedziałem, że śledzenie hasztagów na Mastodonie nie jest globalne - to jest opcja "pokazuj wszystkie posty z hasztagiem z feeda Federated w feedzie Home", a nie "pokazuj mi wszystkie posty z hasztagiem które ktokolwiek gdziekolwiek na którejkolwiek nie-zdefederowanej od twojej instancji napisał". Snif snif.

#Mastodon ma więc jednak z punktu widzenia głównie czytacza trochę skrzywienia na duże instancje, na takowej szansa że ktoś bezpośrednio obserwuje kogoś postującego z hasztagiem na innym serwerze (czyli posty lądują w Federated), albo wręcz ten post z hasztagiem po prostu jest na twojej instancji, wzrasta. Z drugiego krańca, jeśli hostujesz własną instancję, to śledzenie hasztagów jest dla ciebie praktycznie bezużyteczne - będziesz widział posty tylko od osób które i tak śledzisz.

I sort of wonder what would happen if one of the big bads stepped into fediverse. E.g. big G, what with them not having a horse in social media after failure of G+, and a successful example of "embrace and extend" with Gmail (future of "extinguish" to be determined).

I guess more anarchist minded instances would run like hell and defederate in a blink, but other than that... it would be interesting to watch
