#GenCon #GenCon2023 We returned to GenCon after several years of hiatus. We wore masks and were in the minority, but caught no grief. All the best things were still there - places to sit and learn new games, balloon sculptures, friendly volunteers, excellent cosplay. We played SO MANY games. We purchased a few and are looking forward to playing with friends at home now. Some fun ones that were enjoyed and were all fairly quick and easy to learn: Forbidden Jungle, Inside Job, Miller Zoo, Seas of Strife, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Crystello. We decided to do just 1 day this year. I hope you all enjoy the rest if the Con!

After discovering the #lichensubscribe #lichen and #Mosstodon hashtags, I’ve started discovering lichens in the wild almost every where I look this time of year! I think the dull skies and muted foliage in my part of the world makes these stand out more. I think this is a common greenshield lichen. Please correct me if it’s not!
