Unfortunately, my battery life is down to around 5-6h now after 6 years. Not much use as a daily driver at this rate... I wonder whether its possible to put a bigger battery in this thing? That said, nothing beats my self-winding #Doxa #Sub300T... no battery, no worries!

So I have an old #oneplus5t... I've been messing around with #ubports and #ubuntutouch 20.04. Its a great UI, but not a deep enough app ecosystem to use it as a daily driver (at least not for me anyway). What else are people doing with their old phones? I could just flash #lineageos 19.1 and #NikGapps and keep it as a "complete" spare phone... but that's boring. What other interesting things are people doing with still good but out-of-support phones?

The US, who largely ignored Fauci, has similar infection rate, but 10x higher death rate. For someone who claims to be an expert at engineering, #musk doesn't seem great at numbers...

For those #Linux users out there who might want a graphical lightweight #Mastodon client, try #Tootle. You'll most likely find it in your distro repositorites and there's also a Snap. It does most things well and is less resource hungry than using a browser if you like to keep your timelines up in the background. It seems to work best with manual auth code when you're setting it up - maybe related to the recent server updates. Probably try the Snap version if you have any auth issues.
