Over the years, I have had several different monitors. All of them, Apple, Dell, and Asus have had an interesting problem I never seen talked about.

After going to sleep, rarely, the monitor won't come out of sleep and the screen stays black.

The monitor itself still registers to the computer, so if you have two monitors it still will have windows on it.

Pressing buttons on the monitor also does not help.

The only thing that solves it is re-plugging the power.
