Monte Walsh (1970) was an elegiac western penned by Jack Schaefer, the author of the classic ''Shane'', which coincidently also starred Jack Palance. This time however it is Lee Marvin who is the star, giving one of many career-best performances. The wonderful score was provided by composer John Barry

I am working on the Excelsior class I still have the shuttle bay to work on and the inner workings as I have with the other designs.
one of the things I dislike with ST ships after the Excelsior is that the Warp field emitters wrap around the aft section of the engine, I much prefer the engines closer to the TMP design etc
So with a Phase II approach, I can alter it to suit myself but in keeping with the overall look,
Shuttle Bay is a long way to go I think.

The plan was vetoed by the Federation President as it would have most likely provoked the Klingon Empire into a full scale war. The operation was subsequently proven to be unnecessary, as the USS Enterprise-A entered Klingon space without authorization from Starfleet and retrieved Kirk and McCoy from the planet.
