Was having issues with #Signal notifications again, so I set my mom up with #Quicksy #XMPP as a backup messenger in case she can't get hold of me on Signal. I'm still using #Conversations, but talking her thru setting up Quicksy was straight forward and simple.

I'll probably go down and set up #Dino on her desktop PC sometime tomorrow so she has something she can use on her PC.

Allow me to schedule messages from the desktop app. I understand that this is only possible from the mobile app right now because the client needs to be online to be able to reliably send them at the requested time, but I wonder if you could have the desktop client sync a scheduled message with its associated primary mobile client and then use the mobile client to handle sending the scheduled message.

I am slowly, but surely, hitting up a lot of my older DVDs and Blurays and re-ripping them; this time making sure to use free/libre codecs and to include optional commentary audio tracks, bonus features and other things that I didn't include the first time around. I won't re-do everything I've ever ripped, but I've been doing this a while and a lot of my older movies I really didn't have a process down pat so besides using less efficient codecs I left a lot of things out.
