OK so I started working as a full time iOS developer in September 2012, we’ll round that down to 11.5 years. If I took off 5 weeks/year, that’s 586.5 weeks. I haven’t spent all that time coding, we’ll under-estimate at 20 hours/week. That’s 11,730 hours. These are already really conservative estimates and completely ignore any side projects or open source work. Still well above the 10,000 hours supposedly required for “mastery”!

AND YET I still have absolutely no clue how Xcode tabs work.
