today my husband and i took our grandson christmas shopping and then to dinner at an understaffed dennys this is the first year in forever...

this is the first year in forever that i have had money to spend on extra christmas presents or anything for that matter
so it feels tremendously wonderful to tell my grandson yes you can get those shoes and those socks and that toy and that candy or whatever

our christmas tree fell over
the 2nd little fake tree i decorated to try to brighten my spirits
i put outside and of course it stormed & i hadnt considered that possibility so my unanchored tree fell also
smashing all the glass ornaments in the driveway
also on monday our dear dear kitty is scheduled to be euthanized
