A few paragraphs into the piece, I ran into a paywall prompting me to subscribe. Like most, I ended up not reading the article.
Subscriptions only work for certain media outlets. I would have gladly paid $1-3 to continue reading but that wasn't an option.

New algorithms now tailor pricing based on what individual customers would be willing to pay and individual drivers are willing to offer.
Uber's massive ambitions have made it struggle for profit for years, but make no mistake: these are the fumbling steps toward a "perfect profit machine."

In part, that’s true.
But (Andor & Guardians of the Galaxy 3) are stories that use the IP as its canvas. And in both cases, they are deeply sincere. Sincerity doesn’t entail it has to be serious: just that the goal is to tell a story first.

The world is greatly in need of new solutions, many of which lie in crypto-economics and blockchain technology.
Sadly, these tools are still badly misunderstood by the public.
We need a new translation layer to bridge this gap.
This Jeff Emmett piece on a "Myco-Economic Future" is a damn good start.
