@parcel I like your app but really wish I could control notifications better. I want to be notified if something has been delivered, not when it is in the final stages of delivery. I’ve had to turn off notifications entirely which is a bummer

When I asked one of the workers about it, he pointed me at parchment paper so I guess the youngsters don’t use waxed paper or even know what it is

It’s 4 hours long and among other places, you can find it on YouTube, free-with-annoying-ads. I thought it was quite absorbing and interesting and let to me googling around for a lot of information. I kind of wish my high school had had us watch it and discuss what was accurate and what was inaccurate.

Any #machining people have experience running that setup? I know fusion is still not running natively on apple silicon but the performance should only get better when that finally happens. Suggestions I use windows are not helpful.

They evolved on the California Channel Islands (which were one island at the time) after larger mammoths swam over and became stranded. In addition to being an oxymoron, they were quite cute if the model in the California State museum is accurate.

20.6.2023 02:22Seen recently in VacavilleRecently a coworker said “the days are short but the weeks are long.” It has been resonating for me and is really how it feels for me lately too.
My current take on this is that it is because we are are really clicking along, coming in each day with goals and plans and always being surprised when the day is up. And having worked hard all week, tired by the weekend. I’m inclined to think this is a good thing.

Three more to go. These have been challenging for me, requiring a lot of careful planning. They are destined to help hold the hatch in place in a submarine and are made from aluminum. They were too big for our lathes so I did them entirely on the mill.

The third picture shows and assembled thruster undergoing vacuum testing (it passed). I also machined many of the other parts in the assembled thruster.
