I've been noticing the word 'modern' being used a lot to describe the latest features for all things frontend, but many of them are really features that are trying to make it easier to replicate all that it isn't modern (eg. typography). I love typography, and I'm glad we are making it easier to handle in CSS, for instance. I am just annoyed that it's called modern. It's not modern typography, I guess it's modern CSS? Poor Gutenberg...

Started my Practical Accessibility course (https://practical-accessibility.today/) by Sara Soueidan (wish she was on Mastodon!). Highly recommended.
I've been to Sara's workshops before and always appreciated the dense amount of information, the quality and passion that transpire. This course is no different.

A good combination of technical learning, common sense to justify it, references and resources to feel like you have all the tools to learn and improve.
