I love having a guide dog and GDB has been great. but no program is Perfect, did my follow up with the field rep- To evaluate the then guard leather harness and was given the approval to use it. But with some modifications. He said the harness on his own was lightweight enough but with the extra step on it he thought it was too heavy. so Requested removal of the harness pouch, change back to school issued collar and leash. since the " inches collaar was to haeavy he thought. and thought the 6 foot hands free was too much to Manage. I swearr if I could train my own guide dog I would. but don't have the know how or patients and like the Veterinary financial support.

Was trying to figure out an issue with Voice Dream leader on why voiceover actions didn’t work deleting the app on my SE and reinstalling fix the issue losing my library. Didn’t mean to delete voice Stream reader on my 13 mini but I did I lost all my content very annoying.

the feel of the leather is very High quality , its soft but still retains its form.

compairing it to school harnesses it feels like all of my guide dog school harnesses.

Design:
the back strap is very wide, with 3 d rings on the sides and one on the center of the back strap.
he added a quick release on nylon straps to allow for harness pouches that didn't open.
the maker was able to design the belly strap similarly close to what a is standard on a north American design,the style is like the GDB Swiss harness in shape, the front chest strap is thinner then the GDB swiss harness about the same as the standard north American design. the chest strap is Reflective on the adjustable piece. bit piece that is over the martingale is lose fore the motion of the chest and the martingale strap I guess.

I ordered the harness in black with stainless steel hardware for the roller buckles and D rings. the quick rlease for the belly strap is black plastic .

the handle is offset-ergo and very thin kinda like the british guide dog handles, its fully Reflective.
the grip is well padded, though the maker did n't do the grip in the same style as the GDB grip with more Coverage down the size of the handle but they're probably wouldn't have been enough room and it would have looked a little awkward with the thickness of the main grip and the side piece is being very skinny.

the leash is a hands free at 6 feet with a traffic handle.

the traffic handle to me is really big.

and there is a adjustable O ring to adjust the body loop.
and a 12" Extension for use when using a head collar.
I wanted a fixed handle like the leader dog leash, I did send pictures. though I guess the leash can be flipped around for the traffic handle to work for the full six foot.
There's a O ring connecting the handle piece with the main body of the leash that can form the handle , kinda .
the leash clips feel strong , only time will tell. I've broken the bolt part on a leash before.

the martingale collar

the collar is 1 inch wide, adjustable from 15" to 22" ish.
with a a d ring for tags, a plastic buckle for Releasing the two halves.

it adjust with a slide that so far doesn't stay in place.

I would have perfered a standard triglide or maybe a Conway buckle.

the feedback of the harness:
the feedback is similar to the GDB harness with no play in the handle, using the Handle connectors for the Julius Canine harness.
they lock in place like a quick release buckle and then a piece slides over to lock it in place.
the slide piece can come off when the handle isn't connected.
