Well automating binary updates does mean your miss some things. Its working again for the PinePhone Pro. But 2 packages needed ~arm64.

The other things is that most Gnome Phone packages now rely on Gnome 47 which is slowly being added to Gentoo, that means that most phone apps are waiting for deps to be updated, just show you are aware.

I'm still maintaining my PPP repo its just a Gnome 47 thing.

I personal like Chromium more then Firefox, that's why I was working on getting it running on the binary host but it had a bug which always resulted in an error and I have now worked around it.

Linux on a phone is a very cool project but after 2 years of daily driving I think its fair to say its not mature enough. You will need kernel 6.1 (https://git.gjdwebserver.nl/gjdwebserver/gjdwebserver-overlay/src/branch/master/sys-kernel/pinephone-sources/pinephone-sources-6.1.4.ebuild) for it to work Manjaro had some fixed I applied. Libcamera is now also in the overlay but it still has some issues for the PPP. So the @PINE64 #pinephone pro journey continues. I've got feedbackd to work agian the @gentoo Guru version was missing the gmobile module wich I re-added in my own overlay. The Vibrator and Led work now. I found out the problem with the camera rkisp1 seems not to load altough its build in the kernel. Still looking into that, but I've updated the kernel config file (https://git.gjdwebserver.nl/gjdwebserver/gjdwebserver-overlay/src/branch/master/sys-kernel/pinephone-sources/files/config-ppp). From this weekend on i'm ditching my android phone as daily driver and switching to the @PINE64 PinePhone Pro #pinephonepro running @gentoo. As we speak I'm updating the kernel config since the 3 axis accelerator driver was not build and found out I forgot to add totem to the phosh-meta package. I've found out that I made an "huge" error in my PinePhone Pro Documentation. After wondering for a year why it was defaulting to software rendering I found out I missed that the @PINE64 #pinephonepro does not have a Mali 400 series but an Mali 800 series GPU wich means you need to use:
