Here’s a new Genoa node from #SC22. Three M.2 slots and NDR400 InfiniBand (upper left), a ton of DDR5, and a big SmartNIC (lower left). A couple server designers admired the heat pipe configuration on the show floor; I guess it’s unusual but these are hot 96-core sockets.

Mastodon doesn’t seem to work well for #SC22 so apologies for being quiet here.

1. I open the mobile app and see only posts from my server, not people I follow. So nothing I care about is visible.

2. Searching for the #sc22 hashtag returns nothing. I have to find a post and click the hashtag link to actually find relevant stuff.

Not really useful for connecting with the community unless I’m doing something wrong. And if I am, the iOS app is very unintuitive.
