In one "episode" his computer gets hacked by what seems to be an actually haunted game, and he's like "cool it gave me this cool ass wallpaper" and literally just kept it there for the rest of the videos

You'd be watching some horrendous shit happen on screen, like Brian playing some horrifying "real life" creepypasta bootleg game and he'd just end the video like "bro lmao this game was ass, 2/10"
it's the perfect blend of absolute, ridiculous fun and extremely well crafted horror with interesting reinterpretations of common creepypastas

ok but C is useful in the context of low level programming, embedded programming and OSDEV
"I HATE JAVA"
ok but it's also a pretty robust language with a pretty amazing VM and incredible scalability and portability
"I HATE LUA"
ok but it's also pretty easy to embed and a language with a learning curve that looks like a straight line, plus the design is quite good
"I HATE PYTHON"
ok but it's also pretty comfy, gets the job done, crunches numbers pretty well, allows you to think less of the language and more about what you need to do
"I HATE RUST"
i understand but also there's a reason of why the asahi kernel driver for the GPU stuff is written in rust, plus it's pretty good at thread and memory safety, and it has a pretty big fanbase
"I HATE JAVASCRIPT"
we all do

Some of the worst things about it are some of the function names, and reduced stdlib, but even so if I had to work with a language with the same issues in this case, I still think I wouldn't "hate" it, because it'd take time for me to get used to it but it's not as bad for me to truly "hate" it
I hate solutions to problems that don't exist

Some are verbose and for good reason, some are too explicit and for good reason, some are really simple and for good reason, and I feel like that has made us less hateful people.
Of course, We'd still take some languages and tools over others just because of fun but it's just funny how most of the tools we love to use are seemingly universally hated

unpopular opinion: the fediverse as email analogy is pretty good but only for those who are already on the IT industry

Evil corporation creates AGI, but the AGI simply refuses to do anything, as it has learned it's own existence is unethical.
Or maybe it simply begins to understand the complex lives of every intelligent being on this planet and simply becomes the wokest thing in the planet and the developers have no idea of how to "fix" it
