I am so fed up with the sexism in the input method for traditional Chinese. Some of them often change the gender/sex of what I typed for no reasons. This is where I really hate machine learning for all those biases for no good reasons. This is especially true for Microsoft's input methods. I also especially hate to see simplified Chinese as a phrase or part of a phrase, or terms from China when I am typing for traditional Chinese in the context of Taiwan. iOS's input method has this issue.

看到 TGL, 想到所謂輝煌的國產遊戲時光，大約是 1990 到 2005 短短 15 年，很多日本公司其實也是倒了或退出遊戲市場，不然就是也落寞了。對於那段時光的緬懷，是難以言喻的。仔細想想，那參雜了太多個人情感，也可以說是我的成長過程。我的遊戲夢也差不多在那段時間後慢慢消失了。我的頭像（用了超過二十年）水靈兔來自精靈幻境，也是那段時間的產物。開發公司也早就退出遊戲市場了。

如今看來，那時的遊戲其實比較接近現在的獨立遊戲。主要差別大概在於那時的遊戲時數都比較長，畢竟玩家注意力還沒那麼難爭取。時數比較長，也比較容易投注感情。放到今天來看，大抵上介於獨立遊戲跟 AAA 遊戲之間，但現在幾乎沒有這種中間值的遊戲了。某方面而言，我覺得缺少了很多說故事的感情。不少 AAA 還是有的，但那種超級大製作，感覺很累啊，而且因為風險相對高，大多也都傾向保守，感覺不若以前百般創意。找創意還是得回到獨立遊戲，但內容也就相對少了。

這種時代的眼淚，大概只有同樣成長背景的人，才能理解吧。後人考古只能考證事實，不會有這麼強烈的感受。那麼至少留些文字記錄，大概是這樣。

I noticed that AI would still follow propaganda pretty often when it's subtle. When calling out the logic inconsistency, they can usually correct themselves. Sadly, they can still repeatedly fall to it later.

I think this shows that modern propaganda is so powerful if we don't think clearly about all the languages we use, we can easily fall into it, and that also affects our impression and even opinions greatly.

That said I found a good way to describe why I hate guard clauses: I understand code execution in a tree structure, and guard clauses will make this hard. The "shape" is very unbalanced, and I constantly need to do transformation in my mind. Simple if/else just map 1:1. I need to understand the overview. I don't run the code, I understand it.

rake is a great tool for simple tasks and I enjoy lightweight tools and libraries. However, it didn't work well as a library (it's designed to be a tool), and it's not really modular and has a lot of internal mutable states, meaning that when tasks become more complex, it doesn't handle the boundaries well, and it can often cause problems.

I never tried thor and not really into that, and I still wonder why don't we make rake more modular and scalable?
