Got it used. Still doesn't have the chips installed. It's going into storage for now. Maybe later this year I'll have the MK3. Excited for that!

Not yet included is the TherapSID as the sound chips are not installed. lol. One day I'll buy the final revision and add it to a real board.

Outside the frame is the #OXIinstruments One #sequencer. That came with a nice case so, I'll leave it in there for now.

Again, I need a better power solution. I need more gear altogether! lol

Made in Indonesia. It shows. I've noticed a few things that'd never fly from a US shop. See photos. Not a big deal but for $1300 + tax, brand new, no case...

This is not the specific #bass I thought I was ordering. Exchanged a few words w/ the shop... 😬 Alas, that fingerboard won me over & I made aesthetic sense of the body grain. lol

I have an order with my local music shoppe to get 3 custom sets of DR Neon #bass strings. Pink, Green, Blue. I'm imagining fire. 😋 All wound -- like an #electricBass should have!

This beast will be tuned down to
[low G#] for the main course,
one octave above that for the outter secondary course then,
a minor third above that for the middle

I can't go lower unless I change to a non-neon string. lol. Which, is fine. I'm not interested, really. I have other basses for that.

I think I want to use the #AshdownEngineering Head Of #Doom for my DIY electric #cello rig. Maybe paired with a #GenzlerAmplification #Bass Array 2 115-3-SLT & 112-3-STR.

I like the built in suboctave and tube overdrive/fuzz and VU meters of the amp and how the speaker cabs have 4" drivers for the 800+ Hz range.
