@qzervaas I think that the app should know it's already been used by the user (maybe do a quick check if it has data stored in iCloud) and not show the onboarding screens agains. It’s annoying seeing all of the instructions on every new device or when resetting to factory settings.

@1password It’d be useful to have a setting to disable Watchtower alerts about available TOTP for accounts that have saved passkeys. Passkeys already act as 2FA, so there's no security benefit in also enabling TOTP.

@sr @hen @thenewoil In the beta of iOS 17.3 Apple is testing a new security feature called “Stolen Device Protection”. It’s meant to protect users in situations where an attacker has both physical access to their device and knows the device passcode or password.

@IceCubesApp I’ve been moving between Mona and Ivory for a while, now I decided to give your app a try. Could you please add the ability to customize colors (or at least the tint color) and still adapt to system dark/light mode? It’s possible in other apps and I’ll heavily miss it if I decide to switch. I’d really like to have orange accents instead of purple, but still have the app adapt to the rest of the system.

@rmondello It’d be much easier and quicker to sign in to an Apple ID on third-party browsers if the Apple ID passkey was available to apps that integrate with the system API for passkeys in macOS Sonoma. Currently if I want to sign in to my Apple ID in Brave Browser I need to scan a QR code with my iPhone, even though for other accounts it simply shows up the system-native passkey UI, just like in Safari.

@1password It’d be handy to be able to rename physical security keys added as 2FA for the 1Password account. Same will apply to passkeys soon. Currently the only way to change a name of a key is to delete it and add it again, which is far from ideal.

@rmondello One of the things preventing me and my immediate family from switching from 1Password to iCloud Keychain is that Keychain doesn’t have password history. When something goes wrong and we end up with an incorrect password saved, it’s handy to be able to look up what passwords we previously used for that specific account and often one of them is correct. I hope it’s something that you can consider adding.

@rmondello Please make it possible to enable a specific provider only for passkeys and another one for passwords. I’d like to save my passkeys in iCloud Keychain while using 1Password for passwords, but with the current state of things it’d be a pain, because if I enable iCloud Keychain for passkeys it’ll always offer to save and fill-in passwords and there’s no way to disable that. Incredibly frustrating.
