I finally ended up building a home server and I'm happy that I was able setup everything with #proxmox and #ansible ^^.
For now I'm just hosting a discord bot and a local AI chatbot, but plan to add more stuff up when I get proper storage for it.
Any recommendations on things I should host on it?

Today I finished reading "The Rust Programming Language" (https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/)

Not having garbage collecting is a huge win in my book, but I'm still not fully convinced on using the language myself ... maybe I'll try it out on a couple of projects and see how it turns out.

What I'm most happy about is that now I can actually understand Rust written projects ^^. It was hard to get a hang on how functions were visible between crates without knowing the implicit rules around 'em.

I have to say that "escote del diablo" is a cool name... is the name local meteorologists use to describe the fact that, rain kinda evades the city where I live in, just leaving a V shape of drought.

This time we also got hit by 100km+ warm winds because of it, which led to long power outages affecting 1m+ and infrastructure damage because of fallen trees and stuff... we are prepared for earthquakes, but not this 😢
