I suppose this is an abstract landscape. I started to just paint coloured blocks on a very large canvas just for fun, with no particular aim. But then I realised it started to look like an actual thing... so I just continued.

It was painted rotated by 90 degrees, in portrait format. It also took ages to paint because the artist stupidly chose the largest canvas size available.

This is an old painting from about 3 years ago that I don't think I've ever posted on here (it was definitely posted on my now deleted dA account).

Anyway, as with all my own stuff, I like some aspects of this and hate others.

One of the things I now most dislike about this painting is how photographic it looks... which is odd given that I originally started drawing/painting specifically to see if I could draw/paint photo-realistically🤷‍♂️

I've been rying to make sense of the 'drama' that has recently unfolded on my timeline regarding defedding, etc.

All I can say is that I am happy on .ART, I feel safe on .ART, and that this is, in large part, due to @Curator who works hard and makes the difficult decisions to ensure that this environment persists. Curator will continue to have my support.

I currently wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
