Other additional nuisances:
It needs to be connected to my doc station because the mac doesn't have anything else than usb-c and the harddisk is usb 3.1 it doesn't recognize the two screens, and needs random steps to grant permissions for the ntfs app and on top for whatever reason it's not happy with my cherry keyboard and keep asking me to configure it.
It's just painful

An explicit way to confirm that you aren't a bot and that you are not scrapping the web to index or train AI.
Yes for sure can be easily skipped, but companies cannot simply claim that the content was public so they have the right to scrap it.
One complete week compiling kernels, reading logs, rebooting and rebooting again, changing cables reinstalling Debian and seriously considering switch distributions... Turns out that i just need to hold the power button for 45 seconds to recover my usb-c display port again... Good i love modern technology

I always loved rss aggregators, but I easily feel overwhelmed by the number of "unread post" that i have.
But because I still want to be informed, I have created a web site called just enough news (https://news.binarycat.org) that retrieve only the news in the last 60 minutes.
It's opensource and you can download it from https://git.binarycat.org/Guille/news

But now those same gurus remain quiet... so long history short, never trust an expert in tech sharing capitalistic ideas, they are more likely into economics than in tech, and economy it's basically a faith cult with no consideration for the history or the reality.

Today i wrote a C++ program, i decided to go for a multithread approach, it took me a couple of hours to develop, basically because doing crappy code in c++ feels wrong and because i got the feeling that i could reuse it in the future.
Is amazing how the language changes my perspective

I was trying to uppercase a string by using ctrl + shift + u that seems to work for everybody but me, as output i got just u, after some thought I realized that the culprit may be the English int layout that I use so I could write properly in Spanish German and English.
Turns out that if you add the windows key to the list it works as expected.

So, not worth it for me, maybe for personal projects I will reconsider, but i will not recommend it (right now) for a production server :(
