We've spent a massive amount of time figuring out how to make a decent shmup in GBS. Performance tends to take a crippling hit to the nads when you use many projectiles, but our actor based system will get the job done!

This is Mission 1 of the side game. You play past mission simulations of Captain Ikalo Pann, the games protagonist. You can expect more ambitious boss rush shenanigans in later missions. PEW PEW!

This kind of thing needs to be encouraged to keep the micro industry healthy. Without reviews, people purchasing homebrew are doing so blind. And if you're blindly spending your cash on new homebrew titles and enough of them are subpar, then you are likely to look elsewhere for your gaming needs.

Reviews keep purchasers happy and help devs improve their craft.

Our primary goal for IN THE DARK 2 has been to squeeze as much out of the premise of switching lights on and off as possible.

In addition to expanding the grid size of puzzles from 3x3 (which was the limit in In The Dark) to 5x5 grids, I've also designed 40 puzzles in the Story Mode that feature irregular shaped grids. These aim to offer a different set of strategies to discover and master and will keep gameplay fresh over the course of Story Mode.

IN THE DARK 2 features a much larger grid size for puzzles compared to our first game of the series. Where the first only had a 3x3 sized grid, ITD2 features up to 5x5 grids to offer more complex and more interesting puzzles to solve.

The objective is to turn off all the lights, the catch is, flipping the state of one light will also flip the state of all adjacent lights.

Here is a look at the fights in Cappimon, an RPG/Platformer hybrid for the GBC. You don't harm any Cappimon during these battles. Instead, you fight their master while avoiding Cappimon attacks. My intention is to create a system of battling that mixes the traditional RPG fight with something like Undertales more action oriented fights (but with platforming).
