Can any #Snake lovers or just #Reptile experts or there help with this?

I was digging out an old compost heap yesterday and came across a clutch of, what I assume to be, Grass Snake eggs. (I'm in north west England)

They are an odd colour and very early so I'm guessing they are from last year and failed to hatch due to the cold, wet summer we had.

Is there any way to ascertain whether they are still viable?

Looks like #Cycling afficionados should be in for a good #AmstelGold race tomorrow. It's hard to see past Pogačar but Tom Pidcock seems rejuvenated since leaving Ineos and Evenepoel is an unknown force this season and surely Visma have to do something eventually

I have a Pure Evoke H4 DAB radio which does its primary job, playing FM and DAB radio stations, perfectly well.

My problem is that the display fades from normal brightness to near invisibility after about 10 minutes.

Pure support are as much use as a chocolate teapot. I know this isn't much to go on but has anyone out there had similar issues or can suggest a fix?

Another cracking day in #Cumbria. Pasties from Chester's by the River at Skelwith Bridge followed by a gentle stroll up the river to Elterwater with dippers and goosander then looping back via Loughrigg Tarn.

Not the longest or most strenuous walk in the world but the #Lakes was at it's best so enjoyable none the less.

After a real push at the end of 2024 followed by a January of freezing weather and a February of flu I'm trying to get my #Running mojo...

After a real push at the end of 2024 followed by a January of freezing weather and a February of flu I'm trying to get my #Running mojo back on track.

Still can't say I'm enjoying it but the enforced lay off has helped my knees stop aching and they seem stronger this time out, or at least they hurt a lot less!

That dream of galloping across endless miles of moorland track is still just a dream unfortunately.
