But is it really "open" in the sense of not just an open protocol but also lack of a walled garden? Is their concept of data portability, identity portability, open APIs, etc the same as what you might see for Mastodon?

I'm struggling to understand why people are going to Bluesky with *zero* network, instead of Mastodon...

Specifically on his most recent video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pu6RidujRbM) , he calls out that he likes to engage with people that don't agree with him 100%, but that the birdie site (X) is full of people who are, ya know, sad and actually seem to love fascism (to the extent they are actually not just bots).

I don't agree with Ray 100%, and I'm no longer a city nerd, I'd like to think that I'm exactly the person who would productively engage in discourse with him on social media.

XCode's vim keybindings (supported, built-in when you turn thehm on) are pretty usable.

And here's the best part (just noticed this) - they have a summary line of the keybindings at the bottom of the editor window. This is really thoughtful and I am here to appreciate it.
