So far I've completed 2 of the mandatory DEIA actions. I joined 2 ERGs (Employee Resource Groups). A Group of people focused on a specific DEIA goal. The two groups were 'American Veterans' and 'People with Disabilities' - Note that a person can join an ERG as a Member or an Ally. I'm not planning to post anything about my ERG involvement in my email 'Signature', but the signature block seems to be the defacto place where employees 'advertise' their DEIA compliance. i.e. Moral self licensing.

A Group of people focused on a...It's a new year, & the wokists within my company (A U.S. government agency) have been imbued & empowered with new funding (~$114m in 2024) to make everyone more woke. My gov't overlords are now requiring that I meet new DEIA goals (FYI: The 'A' = Accessibility) in order for me to be rated 'successful' in my employee assessment. The Director's challenge mandates the completion of 5 DEIA actions/activities in order for me to be successful (aka meeting minimum stds). Five years before retirement.
