Bought myself an automatic card shuffler for Savage Worlds. In case you're unfamiliar with the system, playing cards are one of the core resolution mechanics. You draw them for initiative, and lay out a track of them during chases.

Been thinking of genericizing the "Racing" system from a cyberpunk Savage Worlds supplement, and extending it to cover different types of modern auto sports. It already includes a random track generator and support for car combat, but there's room for expansion. In particular, I might create a simple system for pit stops, implement terrain modifiers, and define different "modes" of play (F1, Rally, Touge...).

Howdy, y'all. It's great to see everyone. With the recent mass-exodus from Reddit, I decided I'd start posting on forums and the Fediverse again, and this instance looks like the perfect place for me to rest my wings.

This isn't my first time on the Fediverse. Back in '16 I was on niu.moe, though I didn't use it much. Hopefully that'll change this time, though!

I'm huge into TTRPGs, and am particularly fond of generic systems. As well, I really enjoy Vocaloid music, appreciate a good manga or anime from time to time, and play video games when my PC can handle it. My biggest aspirations are to make my own TTRPG hack, and to learn Japanese.
