It's a great, GREAT introduction for the potential updates to come! I personally cannot commit to a tiling window manager yet, but I can commit to KDE, so, having the option to quickly snap and tile windows is very, very nice.

I've moved over to a different application for Discord [ArmCord], but I prefer just using Matrix nowadays, tbh.

It's simpler, maybe not easier, but it definitely provides and adequate experience without being slower than a snail, hehe!
